Labor of Love

It is kind of fitting that i make my first comic post on Valentines's day. In the spring of 2003 I moved to Austin Texas. I moved in with two friends that I have known since collage. A couple of months later in the fall of 2003 we had a new gut move in. He moved from New York, to take a job in Austin Texas. So there were four young 20 something males in a one bed room one bath room 900 square foot apartment. So what are we going to do? We start writing a comic about it. We had written some comics, we had an artist we were all set to take the comic world by storm. Not really, life happens and the comic was put on the back burner. I would pull the comic out every once and a while and write some more comic, I made it to 52 comics. My thought was if I could find an artist I got one a week for a whole year. Well by 2006, I was the only really working on the Comic, trying to find an artist that will work for free to get the comic off the ground. That is harder than you think. Well finely the year is 2011 9 years after we start this project. I have found a wonderful artiest, who also has a full time job, that is willing to work with me to get this comic off the ground. Here is the first draft of the charter named Allen.

I posted yesterday

This must be some kind of record, i posted twice in the same month. hehe well but i am just sitting here doing nothing so i thought i would type some thoughts down on my blog. but as i sit here i do not know what to say. oh i did get a Google Chrome OS notebook last week. for free mind you. it is really nice, but making the move to cloud computing is not that easy. like how do i get my data? how do i listen to my music? or see my pictures? these are just some of the questions i have for google. as time moves on i hope to answer some of those.

so i have probably lost all of any body who ever read my blog, but i can say i am surprised i really have nothing important to say on this thing any way. It is not like i have a hard life, like some friends of mine who oldest child has cancer, and there youngest is a perfect match. i do not have a perfect life where everything always works out. i just have a simple life, yes i have my struggles with life and marriage. but nothing to really right about. why would people want to ready about

" today i went to work helped some people over the phone came home hand dinner, played with the baby and went to bed, doing the same thing again tomorrow"

they would i wouldn't it just gets boring. but i am not giving up, i come blog a couple of times a year hoping that i will come up with a good idea. may be it is just an exercise of blogging everyday that will come up with an ideas.
